EuroGeoSurveys & EGEC Geothermal were jointly awarded a dedicated hub at the Energy Fair of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) in Brussels, spotlighting geothermal energy and geological solutions for Europe’s Net-Zero future.
As a flagship project of EuroGeoSurveys, GSEU was prominently featured. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with live demonstrations of the new Pan-European Atlas of Sustainable GeoEnergy Capacities - an open-access digital platform currently in development. The Atlas already showcases Europe's subsurface potential for carbon storage and deep geothermal energy, supporting data-driven decision-making for the continent’s energy transition.
The joint hub provided a valuable opportunity to connect with policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders, raising visibility for the role of subsurface data in sustainable energy planning.
