Article on GSEU published in the European Geologist Journal 56

The article entitled "Progress and ambitions of the European Geological Survey Organisations in delivering harmonised subsurface data as the basis for informed energy transition policy" has been published in the European Geologist Journal 56, a peer-reviewed Diamond Open Access publication of the European Federation of Geologists.

Read in the paper about showcase case studies that emphasise the importance of geosciences for policy making at different levels – local, national and European.

The European NGSOs have reached an important milestone at European level by being recognised in the EU Critical Raw Materials Act, underlining their role in providing harmonised data for Europe's Critical Raw Materials potential. This recognition underscores the essential link between geoscience and EU-funded raw materials projects.
